Companion Medical saw a problem with diabetes management and decided to solve it: there was no way for diabetics to easily track their insulin pen usage. There were CGMs to track blood sugars, pumps that tracked insulin usage, but no real automation or data management for the good old fashioned insulin pen. To solve this problem, InPen created the only FDA-cleared smart insulin pen system that helps you take the right dose at the right time. It partners with an app and can connect to a CGM to track data, make recommendations, and provide reminders.
